# 3. The Open Monetization Engine

The Monetization Engine serves as the core of Halo’s ecosystem, creating pathways to onboard Web2 users into Web3 through engaging and rewarding tasks.

* Seasonal Social Quests: Users earn XP and third-party rewards by completing tasks, with over $100,000 already distributed to the community.
* Bounty QA: Launching soon in collaboration with Movement Labs, this gamified Q\&A feature adds another layer of earning opportunities.

The Monetization Engine will evolve into an open system, enabling developers and creators to build additional features, such as:

* Messaging bots
* Sticker marketplaces
* Paid subscriptions for smart money tracking

Halo plans to establish a foundation to support third-party developers in expanding the ecosystem.
